1. Subdesu-H Releases

• Releases will now be archived. The file names will use the acronyms of the show. For example, the original file name is: 

 [SubDESU-H] Soushi Aiai ~Jun-ai Merou yori~ – 01 (704×396 x264 AAC) [C8F3F1D6].mp4

• It will now appear as:

[SD] SAJAMY – 01.rar

• Please note the password for the archived files:

2. DVD and Normal Releases

• Note that DVD releases will be in 10-bit format and with soft subs.

 Please read the FAQs page for playback info.

• The other normal releases will still be in mp4 format and hardsubbed.

3. Behind the Scenes

• Though you may not feel it, we’re actually working on stuff right now. LonerPrime is back on his feet again, hurrah!

We can’t give you exact release dates for our projects, but here’s a rough progress list for them.

Anyway, you guys may have noticed the delays in the releases and for that we apologize. Suffice to say, we’re only humans. We know all of you await the recent hentai, but you still have to wait some more for quality releases. Rushing things can result to sad consequences.

Actually, LonerPrime has been sick. His role is far too valuable hence the delay, so we’re hoping that he gets better soon.

[My rambling bit follows.]

Let me also take this time to discuss about an important thing we call burnout.

Burnout is psychological term that refers to long-term exhaustion and diminished interest in work.

In the course of a few months in this group, I’ve worked on many titles, even titles I care not for. I’ve seen a lot of people who come and go in the staff channel, but I don’t blame them when they disappear. There’s no money in this and the task is hard. We’re mostly volunteers.

So why am I still here? It’s because I love hentai and I’m willing to help. Also, I’ve come to like my work as an editor.

However, I’ve felt the impending burnout that’s why I don’t work on each script as soon as it’s done with the timer. It’s not being lazy (although people can think of it this way), but it’s a matter of protecting that piece of inspiration that motivates us to do our tasks.

“But it’s only hentai! How hard could it be?”

So you say, but if you’re in a group, you have to be able to work with and as a team. All the staff members working on a title, especially a hentai one, gets it pretty hard (no pun intended). Sometimes, it gets to the point that you don’t want to hear any type of moaning or see any kind of sex scene.

Sometimes, I have the task at hand, Aegisub is open, but my brain is unwilling to do it. That small bug of hatred starts to crawl and you know you have to take a break. I don’t want to hate what I do (or I’ll end up quitting). I’m grateful that DA does not really push us too hard because he knows how these things go. Sometimes I still need to be nudged or reminded to finish a script.

Have you experienced burnout? It’s not a good thing to have. So my point is, releases will be come when they’re done. Real life gets in the way most of the time.
